ClickUp Review 2026: The Good, The Bad, and Everything In Between
Comprehensive ClickUp review after 6 months of daily use. Features, pricing, integrations, and whether it actually replaces all your other tools.
## The 6-Month Test
We threw everything at ClickUp: editorial calendars, client projects, sprint planning, internal docs, goal tracking. Here is what happened.
## What Works Well
### The Feature Set is Genuinely Impressive
ClickUp does almost everything. Docs, tasks, projects, goals, time tracking, whiteboards, forms, automation, reporting — it is genuinely an all-in-one workspace.
### The Customization is Deep
You can build virtually any workflow in ClickUp. Custom fields, custom statuses, dependencies, priorities — the flexibility is impressive.
### The Price is Hard to Beat
The free plan is incredibly generous. Unlimited tasks, unlimited users, 100MB storage. The Unlimited plan at $7/user/month is excellent value.
### Integrations are Solid
1000+ integrations with every tool you can think of. We connected it with Slack, Google Drive, Figma, and Zapier without issues.
## What Frustrated Us
### The Interface is Cluttered
There are so many features that the interface can feel overwhelming. The learning curve is real — plan on 2-3 weeks before your team feels comfortable.
### Search is Slow
We have a large workspace with lots of content. Search sometimes takes 5-10 seconds to return results.
### Mobile App Quality
The desktop experience is excellent. The mobile app, while improved, still has occasional sync issues and slower performance.
## Pricing Breakdown
| Plan | Price | Highlights |
|------|-------|------------|
| Free | $0 | Unlimited tasks, 100MB storage |
| Unlimited | $7/user/mo | Unlimited history, guest access |
| Business | $12/user/mo | Custom fields, goals, time tracking |
| Business Plus | $19/user/mo | Whiteboards, document templates |
## Who Should Use ClickUp
- Teams tired of paying for multiple tools
- Agencies managing multiple client projects
- Anyone who wants a deeply customizable project management tool
## Who Should Look Elsewhere
- Teams that need a simple, easy-to-learn tool — Trello may be better
- Teams heavily invested in Asana or Monday — migration costs are real
## Final Verdict
**4/5** — ClickUp is a genuinely powerful tool that replaces multiple subscriptions. The learning curve is worth it if you commit to the platform.
